The room & facilities

Your private room features a comfortable double bed, an ensuite bathroom, a mini fridge, television, desk and fast Wi-Fi. It's the perfect place to unwind, work remotely or simply enjoy a peaceful stay in the city.

The property consists of two private guest rooms, each with its own electronic smart lock, allowing you to check in independently at any time of the day or evening. The room itself has complete privacy.

The building is an authentic Amsterdam canal house, full of character and history. As with many historic Dutch buildings, there is no lift and you'll reach your room via the traditional steep staircase on the third floor. Because of the age of the building, you may occasionally hear some sounds from the common areas, but the rooms themselves are quietly situated at the rear of the property overlooking the courtyard. Travelling before check-in or leaving later after check-out? A secure luggage storage area with a personal access code is available, allowing you to explore Amsterdam without carrying your bags. Please note that the room does not have air conditioning, but a fan is provided to keep you comfortable during warmer days.

The neighbourhood

Oud-West is one of Amsterdam's favourite neighbourhoods among both locals and visitors. Instead of large crowds, you'll discover cosy coffee bars, excellent restaurants, artisan bakeries and unique boutiques. The famous Foodhallen is only a short walk away, while the beautiful Vondelpark offers the perfect place for a morning walk or afternoon picnic.

The nearby De Hallen, De Clercqstraat, Kinkerstraat and the famous Nine Streets offer endless opportunities for shopping, dining and enjoying Amsterdam like a local. Most of the city's highlights—including the Museumplein, Leidseplein, Jordaan and the Canal Belt—are within walking distance or just a few minutes away by tram. If you'd like to discover Amsterdam by bike or enjoy a canal cruise, you'll find plenty of rental options nearby, and we're always happy to share our favourite local recommendations.

Guest access & during your stay

Self check-in makes arriving easy, even late in the evening. You'll receive your personal access codes before arrival, so there's no need to arrange a meeting time. If your room happens to be ready earlier, we're happy to offer early check-in whenever possible. Likewise, if you have some time before your departure, you can safely leave your luggage in our secure storage area while you enjoy the city a little longer.

Although your room is completely private, we're always nearby if you need anything. Whether you're looking for restaurant recommendations, hidden local gems, transport advice or assistance during your stay, we're happy to help make your Amsterdam visit as enjoyable as possible.
