On the plus, the location is great, it had a nice view and they had tea/coffee and a mini fridge. The host was very responsive.
The stairs (inside and outside) were so steep I worried about getting injured carrying up/down the bags.
For what we got we paid way too much. Unfortunately I booked late and there were not many places left.

The room was on... read more the top floor and there was no A.C. so it was very hot during the day. However, there was a fan and we noticed that if we turned the fan facing outside it helped to cool the room down (especially at night). Good news was that we wanted to be outside, so it didn’t affect us that much. The location was GREAT. We did not rent a car and felt it wasn’t necessary to have a car. Overall, we had a great experience and I’d hope to book with Julien again.

  We were a bit taken back when entering the apartment building as we then realized the entire rest of the building was under construction. The stairs are narrow(as they are... read more in any typical dutch building) but due the construction the hand rails were removed from the stairs leading to the 3rd floor(which is where the room is located). This made it difficult and dangerous when entering and exiting with our luggage. If this detail was provided within the listing details it would have help us be prepared for walking into such a site, and also would have possibly helped me in the decision making process of choosing a place to stay(because it would have been taken into consideration).

Other then that the room was very clean and just as described in the listing. The location is ideal and very close to the tram which gets you to central station and other parts of Amsterdam very easily and efficiently. The host was a great host and the process for check-in/out were very simple.

Un peu difficile d’accès si vous avez de gros bagages car les escaliers sont très raides.
Je le recommande si vous venez passer quelques jours à Amsterdam!
