We had check-in at 1 am and check-out at 3 am, so the code doors are very handy. Comparing to the hotel rooms with similar location and price — this offer is much better ;)!

  We were a bit taken back when entering the apartment building as we then realized the entire rest of the building was under construction. The stairs are narrow(as they are... read more in any typical dutch building) but due the construction the hand rails were removed from the stairs leading to the 3rd floor(which is where the room is located). This made it difficult and dangerous when entering and exiting with our luggage. If this detail was provided within the listing details it would have help us be prepared for walking into such a site, and also would have possibly helped me in the decision making process of choosing a place to stay(because it would have been taken into consideration).

Other then that the room was very clean and just as described in the listing. The location is ideal and very close to the tram which gets you to central station and other parts of Amsterdam very easily and efficiently. The host was a great host and the process for check-in/out were very simple.

  Very nice place in a great location, everything you wish to do downtown is within walking distance. Also Julien was very accommodating and quick to respond when I needed anything.

  spotlessly clean, easy checkin/out, excellent communication and recommendations from the host. very very central, near the Jordaan which is a lovely district for bars/restaurants.

The host even allowed us to store our luggage pre check-in and post check-out, and he was super responsive and helpful!

Très facile à trouver et se situe dans une rue calme !

Un peu difficile d’accès si vous avez de gros bagages car les escaliers sont très raides.
Je le recommande si vous venez passer quelques jours à Amsterdam!

  Our stay at RoomWest was great! We were in such a perfect location to move around on foot, and Julien even let us keep our things in a locked closet... read more on our last day after checkout so we could keep exploring without worrying about our stuff! We will definitely be returning!
